A HPV and
Herpes HELP Group
Park your car in the back parking lot
and upon entering the building go through the double doors to the right of
the front desk and walk down the hall and through the second set of
double doors and turn to the left. We meet in room
119D.
Ohio Support is here to give those
looking for answers, the emotional support and education many seek after
being diagnosed with one or both of these viruses.
After finding out you have herpes or HPV there are a lot of questions.
Everything from toilet seats to having babies. At our monthly meetings
we openly discuss living and socializing again with an STD. We are able
to answer your questions and to listen to your concerns.
Alice, a nurse and our medical
advisor works in the STD clinic at the Columbus Health Dept. She attends
seminars two to four times a year for updates about these and other
STD's. She is a very knowledgeable and great person to speak with. All
of us with Ohio Support look forward
to seeing you.

Welcome to
Ohio Support, we're glad you found us. Hi! I'm Paula Petals the Ohio Support group coordinator. Every month we meet at the Columbus Health Dept. on Parsons and Main St. 7PM-9PM. I'm joined by Jo Buckeye co-coordinator and our medical advisor Alice. I know what you're thinking- "NOT THE HEALTH DEPT! People will think I have an STD" But hey! the place is closed except for us, the cleaning staff and security. Don't worry about running into anyone you know. If any one asks just tell them you're volunteering.
